Cooking Up a Kitchen Lesson

East Dallas residents have an opportunity this weekend to take a step from being a cook to becoming a chef.

Bistro Watel’s offers a cooking class at 5 p.m., Sept. 25— it repeats Oct. 1— at the restaurant.

Culinary pupils work their way through preparing various sauces suited to a variety of meat and fowl main courses. After the lesson, participants are free to select a four-course dinner from the menu.

Reservations, required, cost $66 per person.
