Micki Rawlings, wife of Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School as part of the 1968 class.

She returns to the neighborhood tomorrow afternoon to serve as grand marshal of Woodrow’s homecoming parade.

She and City Council District 9 Rep. Sheffie Kadane, along with Principal Kyle Richardson and his peers from feeder schools, lead the parade as it begins its neighborhood route at 5:30 p.m., Sept. 21, from the school.

Parade participants line up at 4:45 p.m. The procession concludes back at the school, at which time the pep rally, tailgate party, and cookout commence. The festivities include $5 taco dinners. Prooceeds benefit the Woodrow PTA.

The game versus cross-town rival Hillcrest High Panthers takes place at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 23, at Franklin Field.
