C.C. Young retirement center dedicates its new building next week.

After slightly more than 18 months of construction, the center’s new residential facility, The Overlook, opens officially July 27 with a ribbon cutting ceremony planed for 8:30 a.m. that day at the new building.

The Overlook, a $50 million mid-rise residential building with views of White Rock Lake, contains 232,000 square feet, in a six-story structure. It adds 108 residential living apartments on the 20-acre campus of C. C. Young.

The building also houses a new main kitchen for the entire C. C. Young campus and two new dining rooms. The Overlook offers residents a variety of floor plans with one or two bedrooms. All units have private balconies and underground parking.
