Lapping Up White Rock

This weekend’s installment of events associated with the Comerica White Rock Lake Centennial Celebration involves bicycles, and lots of them.

The Greater Dallas Bicyclists Club serves as host for the first and only — unless somebody out there lives a long, long time — White Rock Lake Centennial Bike Ride.

Pedal the family and friends over and join the ride at 10 a.m., June 11, at TP Hill, No. 15 on the map along West Lawther Drive.

The club plans a one-lap-around-the-lake ride in commemoration of each century White Rock’s been in existence.

After the free ride — no, no links to Edgar Winter Group … oh, OK, here — the event turns to food, drink, and music provided by Cameron Ernst back at TP Hill from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

E-mail Bob Murdoch for more information.
