The 2011 graduating class from Lakehill Preparatory School totaled 32 seniors. Those 32 seniors collected 170 acceptance letters from 100 different universities.

Toward the end of the school year, Lakehill seniors slowed down a bit to celebrate the journey that brought them to this point.

Seniors began their day with a treat from Starbucks and were joined by their parents for a catered lunch that mid-May afternoon. They then had the opportunity to announce their college acceptances at an all-school assembly in their honor.

Senior sponsors introduced each senior one by one, sharing his or her achievements, college plans, and future goals. Soon-to-be graduates then answered questions from Lakehill alumni and were given the opportunity to share some of their treasured memories from their years at Lakehill.

Each senior also had the opportunity to pass down a personal Lakehill memento to a lucky raffle winner. From autographed basketballs and running shoes to an SAT Study Guide, there was no limit to the items bequeathed.
