Work officially began yesterday on the $14 million, 40,000-square-foot expansion at Woodrow Wilson High School.

Well, it began in a ceremonial kind of way.

School officials, students then and now, community members, and a few Dallas ISD types — an estimated crowd of about 200 — gathered for yesterday’s groundbreaking ceremony.
