Lost Dog Rescued Along Gaston

By Bruce Felps

Stefanie Spaeth of Lakewood Pet Watch sent a heads up last night about a little lost dog found wandering along Gaston Avenue.

A rescuer picked up the dog Monday morning and described the canine as a small mixed-breed, likely with Boston terrier in the bloodline.

The dog is black-and-white, male, older, blind to some degree, although he looks well cared for and probably missing from a nearby home. He also was wearing a polka-dot collar.

Contact Lakewood Veterinary Center at Mockingbird Commons — aka: the Tom Thumb shopping center at Mockingbird Lane and Abrams Road — at (214) 826-4800 with information about this little fellow’s proper home.
