Two Dogs Rescued

By Bruce Felps

A couple of pre-lunch e-mail messages carried word of separate rescues of two dogs, both white and one with but three legs.

Tripod, and that’s not his official name, was rescued just before he ran out into Buckner Boulevard at Lake Highlands Drive.

He features two prominent characteristics — three legs, the back right is missing at the hip, and bright blue eyes. He’s wearing a brown collar and a flea collar, but no tags and no microchip.

His rescuer described the dog as “very shy, gentle and wants to be loved on.”

Contact Little Forest Hills Animal Alert with information about this boy’s proper home.

Not far away, over at Casa Linda Park, a rescuer took in a white female Monday night, April 11. The rescuer added her photo and information to a Facebook page.

Post any information about her proper home or interest in providing a foster or permanent home to the Facebook page.
