Stonewall Jackson Elementary School’s Urban Cowboy party and auction gala bolts from the chute in nine days.

The evening — 7 p.m.-midnight, April 16, at Eddie Deen’s Ranch — as always, features food, music, dancing, imbibing, and this year’s hootenanny also includes mechanical bull rides.

Mostly, though, the big event serves as a fundraiser for the school, and the primary means to that end is the auction. Score a preview of the auction items at the online auction catalog.

Donors put up more than 400 items for the block. Some spotlighted goods include — and what elementary-school aged girl wouldn’t love this? — a Justin Bieber Birthday Basket complete with life-size cutout of the pretty-boy singer.

Other items include a trip and three-night stay along New York’s Broadway; an evening of food and wine for 10 in the winner’s home created by chefs George and Katie Brown, who happen to be Stonewall parents; and one week on the Stonewall marquee to display a personal message.
