Wayward White Dogs Found

By Bruce Felps

A good person rescued a pair of wayward white dogs — who likely have some husky or Akita or German shepherd in their lineage — Sunday about noon.

The two were found roaming along Hubert Street near Live Oak Street without collars, tags, or embedded microchips bearing identification.

Both dogs have blue eyes to go along with the white fur. One’s male and the other is female, and according to rescuers one looks to be about 1 year old and one looks to be about 4-5 months old.

They now are cared for at Metro Paws Animal Hospital, so contact the staff there with information about the dogs’ proper home or with inquiries about providing a foster or permanent home.
