The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands recently recognized two top students at Lake Highlands High School as the group’s Youth of the Month for February.
Katie North and Andy Chilian earned the awards because of their academic excellence, leadership, and involvement in school and community activities.
North ranks seventh in this year’s graduating class of 425 students. She enjoys English and social studies and sings with the Espree and A Capella school choruses. She also belongs to the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Chilian carries a 98.32 grade point average, ranking 25th in the senior class. He rated calculus and choir as his two favorite courses, and he, too, sings with Espree. He is a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, the mathematics honor society.
Give it up for some good kids in the community.
