Last week threw off schedules for multiple Woodrow Wilson High School extracurricular events, and school organizers look to catch up this week.

The mock trial team, which was to participate in the quarterfinals Thursday, now seeks to advance during the rescheduled quarterfinals Feb. 8, 6 p.m., at the George Allen Sr. Courthouse.

Rehearsals for the spring musical, “Grease,” also resume this week with the choreography for the number “Greased Lightning” on tap tonight at 7.

Producers are serious about keeping the mood serious to get everything back on track. Here’s the full rehearsal rundown and a few admonitions.

The PTA board meeting also takes place tonight at 6 in the library.

Finally, the Woodrow poetry slam takes place at 4:15 p.m., Feb. 10, in the library. First-place winner walks away with a gift card for Best Buy and second place takes a Starbucks gift card. Keep the language clean. Poets will be judged on style, attitude, and originality.

Submit entry poems before 2 p.m., Feb. 10, in the library to be eligible to compete.
